Membership in The Glades Initiative is open to organizations that
are:
- 501 (c) 3 corporations with Glades addresses; or
- Health and human service organizations that provide services west
of 20-mile bend; or
- Local educational institutions, churches, subdivisions of the state;
or
- Entities recognized by the Glades Initiative Management Board with
a vested interest in the health and human service programs in the Glades
area.
A few benefits of membership:
Networking - Opportunities to engage other professionals with similar
responsibilities and experience in providing services to residents of
the Glades communities.
Participation in System Development - Role in helping to define the developing
health and human services system of care.
Collaboration and Partnership - Excellent forum for identifying collaboration
and partnership opportunities with other health and human service agencies.
Special Projects - Participation in initiatives that are specifically
designed to improve the delivery of health and human services in the Glades
communities.
Training & Development - Opportunities to participate in "local"
training in areas such as basic life support/ CPR and cultural competency.
